Elementary + Intermediate Ballet 1 (Combined)
FRIDAYS 1:30-2:45PM
Ages 8+. This class will focus on the education and technique of the Russian Ballet style. Each period will include a class ballet barre warm up as well as jumps and combinations across the floor. Two prior years of ballet experience is recommended.
Intermediate Ballet 1 is a
2-day/week course that also meets on Tuesdays from 10:45-11:45AM.

6+ years of prior dance experience required.
This advanced ballet class is for the serious dancer who wishes to continue in their dance education and improve their skills as a ballerina. Focus will be on improving technique, balance and strength through barre exercises and center floor work.
Friday classes are combined with Intermediate Ballet 2.

In this theatrical movement class, students will be challenged in both choreography and emotional expression. By using inspirational Christian music, dancers will bring the song to life through dance unto the glory of God.
Students must be dual-enrolled in a Petit Allegro ballet class.

PrePointe & Pointe 1
FRIDAYS 11:30-12:15PM
In this course, students will use resistance bands, strength training, matwork and barre to prepare their bodies to begin en pointe. Parents and students will be provided with information about pointe shoes, fittings & sewing and well as a “Ready for Pointe” checklist and organized assessments. Students will be given annual pointe shoe assessments to receive feedback and track their progress. Beginner pointe students will continue taking this course throughout the school year.

TUESDAYS 1:15-2:00PM
FRIDAYS 12:45-1:30PM
Students must have completed a minimum of two years en pointe and have teacher recommendation for this course. Emphasis will be to challenge dancers to improve their core, balance and confidence on pointe as they work both on and off the barre and progress to advanced steps in center floor. Each student will need a pair of properly fitted and sewn pointe shoes throughout the year.
